I've only had one Kenwood amp, a 5 channel, due to a poor internal ground at the RCA input, I was forever getting an alternator whine. The shop ended up soldering a little jumper wire from the RCA terminal in question to the ground screw. It alleviated the problem, but didn't clear it up entirely.

Just an experience. Not swaying you guys away from Kenwood. I just think that for the price, you may be able to find something better.

I'd give MR2NR some thought. I've dealt with him already. Happy Camper, I am. Plus, because we're in Ontario, we don't pay PST on his goods.

Rob is great I may add. Great customer service and knows what he is talking about. Seems the system he told you about fits in the price range

I would definitely agree with everyone, talk to MR2NR I just ordered my christmas present from him and don't have one single bad thing to say. Even when I had problems with my amp (not at all his fault) he told me exactly who to contact and how to get the problem solved.
