Red face Need A new System

Well with my last system i was dumb didn't know anything about car audio and got ripped off pretty bad i think :s

paid 450 for a Koiler 600w amp and 2 10Inch Kaption subs

Now these pound inside the car nicely, but i want something you can hear down the street!

please help me guys ... All i need is sub and amp, 1 or 2 subs no matter. I already have a Dual 12 box and Dual 10 Box sitting around!

Looking to spend between 500-700 CAD? Am i stupid for thinking a setup can be done for this much?

More info..... as much info as you can please. What vehicle is it, what else in installed, what you anticipate doing in the future, overall goals of the system. The limiting factor for yois is two fold, the budget and the box. While we can work with the budget it is the box that is going to make or break the output of the subs you put into it. If you plan on using it for now, that's great. You should make plans to build the ideal box for the subs to guarantee the performance that you seek.

also if you plan on using your duel 12 or duel 10's box what are the dimensions of it? are they sealed or ported? 500-700cad will leave you with a nice setup lol!! and like MR2NR said what vehicle are you going to be putting this in and what kind a space do you have available?!

wow lots i left out i see sorry! Well lets see to start... The car is a 2002 Honda Civic 4 Door, the Head unit is a Kenwood KVT-512 DVD, the speakers in the car are infiniti kappa perfects

The Thing about the 10 Inch kaptions is that they pound nicely inside the car, but as soon as you step outside the car you dont really feel them, not very deep, now i'm not sure if this is because of the amp, or just the subs themselves? Maybe i Don't need to upgrade the subs at all I could possibly add a 3RD 10 and a Nicer amp, well anyway you guys are the pro's so please help!

i don't mind the whole trunk can be used! And its the stock kaption bock has kaption logo's all over it and its ported!

thanks a lot

If you are wanting to feel them and have them play deep, you are going to be changing the entire sub system, amp, subs and box for sure. Add me to msn if you like, way quicker to talk there.
