I could not hear much difference between the Legatias and the Clarus speakers. I dont know... I could be persuaded to sell a Clarus 6.5" set. It is pretty much brand new in box, I only bought it and tried it out for a few weeks. They are sitting around and waiting for a project. I just have more speakers than I need, really I am guessing they are my back-up pair.

Nice to see another Caravan on the boards

If you do decide to upgrade your speakers, an easy solution is the Eclipse SP6900 component/coax set. They fit in the front doors with ease and provide an amazing sound. I love them. I've heard them straight off a deck and was definitely impressed. I'm pushing mine with about 120wrms and they sound great

for the money the deck looks like a solid investment under 2 bills you cant go wrong with the list of features now for the rest of your build you have a lot of space to fill but keep in mind the more power you want to draw the more upgrades you must do to save yourself from mechanic bills ie altenators batteries and so on and so forth. if your not planning on competing every week end I would suggest 2 12's or 1 15 around the 350 to 500 watt draw and an amp to match . have fun with it thats the most important thing

Yeah, I am hoping it was a good investment. I've been using it now for nearly a week and I can't say I have any disappointments. It's an excellent deck and the iPod control now makes it like 100 times safer to drive and scroll for tracks at the same time. My only problem right now is that I am experiencing bass distortion due to my crappy stock speakers so my next investment is a subwoofer and amp. Right now, Browntown_07 said he will sell me his old sub and amp setup consisting of a single Alpine Type-R (2008 model) woofer, JBL CS200.1 amplifier, a custom box, a 4AWG wiring kit, and a 4 ohm dual voice coil.

Anyone have any thoughts on the sub setup I listed above (except for Ashley)? It's probably going to run me around $500 for everything installed.

yayy more caravans! i have a feeling i wont be part of this little club anymore soon seeing as mine is about to die die dieee (the bottom strip of my trunk has no metal anymore, as well as other random areas of the car... i hate f*@#ing rust). the ipod connection is so key with the alpine decks too, good choice! are you going to go to amped speakers later on now (i dont remember if you said so or not yet because i already cant remember what you said in the last couple pages lol)? i couldnt hear music in my van even with just maybe around 400wrms :S
