SUX 2BU page three is pure sickness! I'm in awe over some of that equipment. I recently sold a perfectly good working order Alpine 7390 head unit to a board member and as far as I'm concerned, the best unit they ever made. If I could only get my hands on a Alpine 7909 cd player. Legendary status. That collection of power amplifiers was devastating. People simply don't know or care for the old school gear. All I can say is ***** to the wall baby. I noticed a Precision Power Pro MOS Series amplifier or was that an art series amplifier. I presently own a Precision Pro MOS 50 and what a little beast of an amp capable of running an entire system. Speaking of Alpine amps back in the 80's it was cool to have the baddest boom box on the block. I took it one step further. Top of the line protable Aiwa cassette player (Walkman variety) with a actual working five band equalizer, Dolby B and C (extremely rare retail $400.00 in 1984) Y adaptor, RCA cables, a portable car battery charger ratet at 15v dc 20amps and an original Stillwater Designs Cabinet with two eight inch woofer with passive radiators and horn loaded tweeters with I cannot recall what type of Alpine amplifier with a simple swith to turn the amplifier on and off. I used to blow away those old school Sharp boxes including those crazy kick *** JVC bom boxes back in the day. We would rock all night long at parties and it helped out in the ladies department at THE INN ON THE PARK on NEW YEARS EVE on many occassions as it could be heard one floor up and one floor down with ease.

Keep it coming

Paul

I would love to get my hands on those Orion Xtreme XTR's or the newer NT's.
Give me four of those and a XTR BIQ and you wouldn't get me out of my garage!

I wonder why he didn't go the balanced route with those in the firebird though?
