George would also like to know what deck does what a EPX does ? George knows of no deck that has 2 inputs. George knows of no deck that has 7 10 volt outputs. George knows of no deck that can take in 18 volts of preamp. George knows of no deck that has VDISC, George knows of no deck that has 16 EQ presets.

George knows alot, but George doesn't know what Dave Mac is talking about.

George has given up on figuring out Tinted. George suspects Tinted drives through the suburbs at 2am pounding his stereo and being annoying because Tinted himself is very annoying.

George also thinks that Tinted reads into every little thing with out actually understanding what the person is saying, therefor getting himself into trouble and having to back track all the time.

Dave Mac is a good member on this board and his posts are his opinions and for the most part right and helpfull. So why would I call him stupid?

Sure, they have add-on processors, but whatever, the EPX is a two-piece system...

Why do you guys always have to think so negatively all the time? Why try and think of products that don't do what something does and think of product that do the same and even more? How about some time alignment, how about some digital inputs, how about digital outputs to run to the amplifiers? Digital graphic and parametric equalizers and so forth??

I was watching Monster Garage last night.. Neat build, old-school custom cars chopped and channelled a 54 chevy into a gorgeous hot-rod.. Not one member whined, complained or argued about how to build the car. They all did their job, masterfully without complaining. I'm tired of complaining. Jesse should impliment a new rule on Monster Garage to make it like all the other reality shows, let the team members vote someone off half way though the show.

Anyways gang, I am outta here for a few weeks.. have fun fighting amongst yourselves.

Thanks for the input DMAC...I like the idea of the EPX2 because my current source unit is fine and I don't want time alignment. All I want is a ****pit adjustable EQ and cross-over. And I don't want to break the bank. I was considering a DQX, however, an EPX seems to do pretty much the same thing.

Oh and FISHBONE, go for the EPX it is a great piece. Give you great flexability, and the RDAT makes it great for tuning up front.
