Premier 880PRS - just got one :D
It's definatly a very very nice deck! I will very likely be running one this year..
One question, can it do "pro mode" like the 860 could? Where instead of the pre-outs being Sub, rear and front they are High, Mid and Low?

Fiero:
Yes it has Pro Mode aka 3-Way Mode or "Network Mode" as Pioneer calls it.
High, Low and Mid- where the mid has two settings high Mid and Low Mid.
This has caused me to re-think and rewire part of my system to accomodate this. Really looking forward to hearing it once I have time to do it all and tune it.
(I am adding an external crossover because I have a 5 way speaker system, so I'll be able to run separate Mid bass speakers and add more speakers to the setup. If your amps has built in x-overs and you can daisy chain two or more amps then you don't have to add a separate X-over if you want to run more than 3-way mode. At least that's as much thought as I have given it right now.... still redesigning my setup to accomodate this unit and its features.)
Hardwrkr:
A friend of mine was able to snag one of the only ones in Southern Ontario for me- asking price is around $599 before taxes at some places I checked- one even quoted me $800 for a unit! (I got a bit of a deal and saved the taxes on the $599 which worked out to $89 savings.)
There is still a two week wait and back order as of last week- not sure if this has changed. You can probably get it just a bit cheaper than $599 if you look around and wait for a few more weeks till the dealers stock up.
ebay has them listed at US$336 or so- but I prefered to buy it from a Brick and Mortar store so that if anything goes wrong I can take it back and get the 2yr Premier warranty without any hassles.
