plexiglass where to get?

A buddy had a piece of the red mirror stuff he got from Select that I used to trim his 8s in the doors of his cavalier and to make the fuseholder mount under the hood. It was nice stuff. Don;t attempt to flame polish though
And I see they still sell their "two way mirror" plexi too. nice.
They have ton of regular and colored plexi too including up to 2" clear. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

If from the states how was shipping for you guys...
i need a 25.5 x 16 inch 3/4 or half inch piece for sub box)
43 x 11 inch 5/8's or 1/4 for amp rack cover..
and the following in mirrored plexi
42 x 11
42 x 3
11 x 3 (2 pieces)
I dont need anything thick for this maybe even less than quarter inch....
If you guys can help me out i'll buy yah a beer

^ You sure you can't find basic clear stuff locally? Have you tried the yellow pages under 'Plastic' and under 'Glass'? It's never been a tough find for me but I don;t know how big Brampton is either or how local to a larger city..
Would regular glass mirror not work instead of plexi mirror? Glass mirror is very inexpensive from a glass shop and they'll cut whatever you need and drill holes in it if you need that too.

Check if there's a Speedy Auto Glass in your area (I don't know if they're a Canada wide franchise, but I'm giving it a shot). They sold me some ¼" Lexan for almost half of any other store, and did it with a smile.
Maybe other auto-glass shops in your area might be able to help you out, too.

hey Guys yeah the amp rack cover piece i can get that here no problem... I can also get the less thicker pieces easily but not in mirrored finish... just in clear...
I would use the regular mirror glass but im afrait it will crack or break because i have to drill my amps in place....
Im going to go do some hunting today for some plastics places maybe even a glass shop and see if they have anything... i went to home depot yesterday to check out the stuff but they didnt have the stuff... specially the 1/2 or 3/4 inch lexan/plexi... But the thinner pieces im going to go ahead and get it from them as they are relatively inexpensive...
So guys basically all im looking for now is the 1/2 and the 3/4 inch plexi for the sub box and the mirrored stuff

Back in the late 80s and early 90s when mirrors in side woofer boxes was cool I used to use glass all the time and it never broke on me.
Get the shop to drill the holes - have them cut the mirror, bring in your amp and mark the hole locations. easy
To mount a glass mirror don't try silicone cuz it will be too thick and crack the glass. Get some two sided carpet tape [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]
