Power HX2's , whats your opinion?

I have heard the Power HX2's and in a proper box they sound very good. I still don't like them, they require alot of power to either sound good or get loud. Don't get me wrong they are great subs, but they have limited applications compared to some others out there.

Very true, i guess i misinterpreted your meaning. You are right about taking obscene amounts of power to do well and sound loud. not like a Shiva. I have seen a Shiva do amazing numbers with only 300w rms.

Straight up, until you exceed their power handling I'd take the HE2 over either HX2 woofer any day.

I'd only use the Power HX2 cuz it looks dead sexy [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

I finally heard a Power HX2 the other week. Quite beastly for a 10". Couldn't really gauge the sound quality, since all I could hear was rattling.

The Punch HE and HX2 12s treaded me well, though...
