Same difference, actually the two direct leads to the amp is better as far as i'm concerned as it offers more flexibility if you upgrade or want to add active x-overs etc...

 

So the install is complete and i wired the four front speakers in parallel and the sound is very good, plently loud and clear. The amplifier does heat up a little though, not very hot but warm to the touch. So far so good i guess. Thanks to all for the help.
