Are radar detectors legal in any provinces?

Drugs are one of the only reasons an officer can open sealed mail. And I have a detector if any one is intreseted

Registerd mail can NEVER be oppened for any reason drugs or not...

An officer can at any time take the envelope, but must have a court order to open it..

The theory behind the envelope idea is that the radar detector is of little value to the officer. It will take him more time in court than it is worth.

If it were drugs or a weopen, then im sure the officer would react differant.

Yes, they are but just like canada they have restricted use.

Some states are legal
Some are not

I believe the only places they are illegal here(aka south of the border) are Virginia and Washington, DC. Those are also the only places crutchfield.com indicates they will not ship radar detectors.

ummm...does putting drugs/alchohol work with the envelope too? Just wondering how gray this area is
