You're system is only as good as the weakest link. If you're buying at can tire, might as well buy everything there, KOSS rocks!

Go to XS cargo, and get some stinger RCA's.... they usually have lots of them, helix, dream, and even sometimes the expert series stuff. (I got a pair of expert series 17" RCA's for $15 there last year)

Lightbulb

I would look at something from Streetwires, or if it's easier to find, Stinger Bullet series are a nice cable for decent cash. I use Bullet ends in my system, but I made my own cable.

I made my own cables using 'Star Quad' Mic cable (2+'s, 2-'s). Worked great. Zero Noise. Manufacturers of high end cable call it 'Double Balanced'. The trick is to use the twisted pairs for the RCA's and only connect the shield to Chassis, not the RCA's, at one end only.
I made a mistake once and used the Neutrik Profi RCA's. They look great and have a spring loaded outer. But in a car, the sping loaded outer slowly pushes the connector out.
