Perhaps I should clarify: I'm surprised that someone who seems unfamiliar with the flagship of RE Audio's product line is actually a dealer for them. I imagine that poses some challenges for himself and his customers.

Still, take what you've learned in this thread and try to grab a hold of an RE Audio dealer. If you find the prices to be a touch high, email sales@ficaraudio.com to discuss their products. Scott and the Fi team have some very good products out with plans to add some more interesting designs. Via email, you'll likely either speak with Nick, Shawn, or if you're lucky enough, Scott the man himself. They will take care of you undoubtedly if you choose to go that route.

Pretty tough to make a blanket statement like that, but the best person to ask about that would be the person who engineered it, which would mean contacting Fi. The BTL's have some pretty interesting cooling designs and a lot of flexibility in design that should allow them to meet your needs. Again, I can't stress sending an email enough if you're even remotely considering their products.

Alternatively, you can ask some questions on their forum at www.soundsolutionsaudio.com.

Take care,
Neil

The MT is certainly their flagship in the SPL world, but the XXX has really always been their premium driver, especially since the re-design in 2006. The prices reflect it as well.

it looks like a very solidly built driver but as for its spl ability i dont think that spending 1000+ dollars on a single sub that may not even get as loud as.. well as loud as he is looking for i think he is better off going the 2 12" sub rout and spending less. of course this is from a price standpoint because i am a totally cheap bastard.

I totally agree with that 2 subs would be a better decision.its just that i dont have room for 2. i couldnt even fit 2 w3's in the trunk.ended up putting them in the back seat. screw it, im seriously considering trading my car in for a truck so i can get 2 subs. even though we are all getting raped by gas prices.

10's and 12's produce like idn how to describe it... like more sound as in just sheer volume... but a good 15 will rumble the **** out of your car or truck.
this is a comparison between t2 10's and a dd9915 15 my friend has in his g6.
