remote amp adjustments

Are there any amps that have a remote adjustment feature? Such as a faceplate you mount up front in the vehical that is wired into the amp? Does stuff like gain, hp, lp, slope etc. Be much easier then jumping out of the drivers seat everytime you want to make an adjustment.
This question comes to mind after trying the RBC for my JL 500/1, all it does is adjust the amount of bass but looks like it could do way more if the powers that be were so inclined to make it so.

I am pretty sure some of the Kenwood amps had a feature that allowed you to set up the amp from the head unit, didn't Alpine have this option for some amps, also? Here is a Kenwood that had this: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-PSCdBzvUkiB/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?print=Y&g=120&id=detailed_info&i=113K ACX541

I would just look at a signal processor with faceplate control. Something like an Alpine PXA-H700/701

just a bracket that I could mount under the dash that has the same controls as on the back of the amp would be nice
