replacing sub in JL stealth box?

replacing sub in JL stealth box?

Hi guys! I'm going to purchase a JL stealth box. and it is paired with a 10w1v2-4 and would like to replace it with a better subs. also, what would you guys recommend to replace it? It's going to my hummer h3. Thanks so much!

I wouldn't replace it with anything other than what's already in there (or another JL equivilent). Enclosures like that have specific drivers and design elements to make sure it is working as efficiently as possible. You put in another driver unsuited to that enclosure it'll sound like $#!t, or the output will be $#!t, or you'll end up breaking $#!t, or all of the above $#!t lol Unless you are able to read and understand T/S Parameters and can select a driver that is going to react the same, or close to the same, in that enclosure, don't even bother
