i have a single re sx 15" 2 ohm

and an alpine mrd-1005

i would be using this diagram to hook them up together right?


and how much power should i expect the amp to be pushing to the sub


(sub handles 1000rms easy)

I can't find the specs for a 1005 model... But the MRP-M1000 puts out 600W on a 4 ohm load.

What is that sub? Is it a single voice coil, or double? Assuming its double because of the wiring diagram you found.

 

The MRD-M1005 puts out 700 watts at 4 ohms at 14.4 volts and 1000 watts at 2 ohms at 14.4 volts.
