Scott,
Not trying to pick on you or anything like that. Frankly, if I could shake down some people for great gear (well, not that big of an if) and do a great instal (now, that is a big if on my part) I would probably follow the course you took. I love the install, wouldn't change very much at all.

The stroller in the trunk thing is a stretch for me. I know I can't go anywhere with my two sons with that little room in the trunk (I have a jogging stroller, a diaper bag, and a bunch of other stuff that just wouldn't fit).

Frankly I'll take "simple" and very well executed over a 'glass job that looks like *** up close but looks flashy from 15 feet away.

Way better than a Saleen Mustang with a plexiglass box BTW.

Thank you all for your comments...the good comments which are food for the soul, and the bad comments to help me improve...

To address a few things:

Yes, one of the judges was none other than Gordo. At about this hour, Gordo was in the middle of a severe case of heat exhaustion.

Yes, I was redundant. Whip me with a wet noodle. I'll try better next time. Me--->

Fazes---you don't like me?

Jamie, yes, Mark had me up by 19 or so in creativity. It was the difference.

Dave-MacKinnon and DWVW: thanx so much for your nice comments. And Dereck (if I can say this without sounding conceited), the stage depth in my car is my favorite as well.

Analyte free water is laboratory-grade deionized water. Water is not conductive without the presence of minerals. Analyte free water has no minerals.

Yes, I compete a street car in the ultimate class. Yes, my car is different than the mainstream glass install. Yes, I am going to mention that in my presentation, as often as I feel necessary, to ensure that my car's best characteristics come through. Yes, I said "attention to detail" too often. Yes, I mentioned the other installation styles in my class, in the spirit of competiton, and to highlight my car's strengths (anyone care to mic the other ultra pro and expert competitors and see what we hear?). Yes, after a post SBN wrap up and double-check of the scores, it was determined that Mark Eldridge and I *tied* in sound quality. Yes, I have 150 hours into my installation, and it holds its own in sound quality (and in a few cases, wins because of SQ---I placed 2nd of 3 in daytona), against cars with two- and three orders of magnitude more time invested.

Who's coming to SVR??

Scott
