Thanks for all of your input. I was looking at etronics.com and they tell you the total price that you have to pay, including taxes, no duty. I think they ship it with CanadaPost "BorderFree?"

If its used, tell the shipper to send it as a gift...you'll only pay tax on the declared value with no duty...

 

I bought my latest RF amp through a guy in Vegas, was sent FEDEX, and never had to pay any fees whatsoever. Didn't hurt that I asked to declare the value at a buck, since I did trust him. And it worked, no problemo.
