should i get a bigger box???
well i got 2 2002 L7's on a kx 1200.1. they r in a 1.75 per sub ported box i think its tuned to 33 or 35. well it sounds fine but when i c ppl and there L7's, there in a big *** box. what i want to know is how big of a diff will a bigger box make? right now i have them in a benz and the trunk is not to big but i can still fit in a bigger box....should i get a bigger box? or should i wait till my next car wich i plan to keep for a long time? it will be about a year till i get my next car so should i wait or will the bigger box sound so much better that i shouldent wait???
If those are 12"s or bigger I would definitly go with a bigger box. Those L7's are meant to play DEEP notes! I'd have each of those in like 2.5cubes worth of space, or even bigger if you prefer. That is if you were able to get a box that big to fit in your car.

hey guys well they r 2 12 in a 1.75 each but there not in there own box. there in this kinda box but i have no wood in the middle devieding the two subs.
. is it worth getting a new box now or should i wait for my next car so i can make the box in the trunk of my mext car......?
I've made 3 different boxes for a 12L7. 2 ported and 1 sealed. IMHO, double the size if you're going to keep it ported. 1.75 cubic feet is barely enough for a sealed box, unless you intend to throw a LOT of power at them. Just my experience of course.
hummmmm..............i think im going to leave this project for next summer. im not going to be blasting it in the winter so im going to wait. thankz for the help guyz i was going keep this box for ever but i think im going for a big *** box now.
