Snap, Crackle, POP!

Well I just installed my system and whenever I turn on the HU, change tracks, change sources etc. I get a loud pop and crackle through the speakers. I also get a slight shock sometimes when exiting the vehicle. I'm leaning towards a bad ground but just wanted to hear some input and some suggestions. And if it is a bad ground who is most likely the culprit? HU? Amp? I have one amp powering components. Thanks guys.

Ya i get that shock also but i get it from lots of vehicles but mine is the worst. All my stuff is grounded perfectly but whenever i touch the door and only the door to my truck you can both see and hear the shock and it hurts like a bitch. Must be my electric personality cause thats all the reasoning i got left for why it happens.

bad chassis ground from the battery !(your mustang had a 8g ground for wire with a crapy clamp that do not hold to the battery !do the big 3 and relook at ALL GROUNDS

After you RE-DO all your grounds (fixing some of your problems) and there still is a problem any of your RCA wires from the HU to your amplifiers could be faulty (at least it can be a cheap fix)
