So is Quart made in China?

I must say, what is it with all these great brands over the years like Marantz, JBL, Onkyo, Denon, PG, MTX, MB Quart being high quality products made in US, Japan, Germany, etc... and then getting made into cheap crap from malaysia, singapore, india, and lord knows where else -- I am kind of nostalgic for the days when goods were made in a factory and not a sweatshop...
and yeah, I know I'm going to get flammed for this, but oh well...

I MISS THE DAYS WHEN PRODUCTS WERE ALL MANUFACTORED IN THE ORIGINAL PLACES THAT SAID PRODUCT BECAME FAMOUS FOR AND THAT PERHAPS IT IS NOT THE SAME PRODUCT IN TRANSLATION AS IT WAS ORIGINALLY.
My comments were not targeted at MTX specifically -- I am sorry you took it that way.
In addition, I did not list RF; however, they are not particularly famous for Headunits and coaxials. Furthermore, their amps and subs (ie what they are famous for
) are still made in the US, unless they are now using cheaper off shore robots. Although, I do still like RF gear, that does not mean I will blindly say all of their gear is unconditionally good -- anyone who has spoken with me in person knows that.Kyle, my intention was never to make this personal; however, I will always answer to those who challenge my knowledge, intellect, or integrity.

Its not that big of a deal Mike.
...but I am not sure how else you can take your comments other than to assume you believe all those companies built great product and now make cheap crap because it is built in china.
And yes many of RF's product is built overseas.

Yes the RT product is built overseas, I never said it wasnt. In fact I defend to a degree companies who choose to build in China.
My defence was to your original post, when you stated that MTX USED to make great product in the US and now uses sweat shops in China.
Yes we build products in china and continue to build high quality, reliable amps regardless of where they are made.
If you would like to discuss this by phone please give me a call. You are obviously mis-reading this post.

RF,
All amps (even the P2002) are built in the USA. All subs (even P1 series) are built in the USA.
speakers/seperates built off shore (non USA).
And of course , the accessories (amp kits, fuse holders, RCA cables etc.) are built off shore.
