I sold my truck and bought a grand prix.

The car comes with stock stereo controls on the steering wheel.

I'm wondering if I put my aftermarket mp3 player in the car is there anyway to keep the controls on the steering wheel?

how much am I lookin at for the adaptor piece?

I mean if it's like $150 bucks then I hardly think its worth keeping the controls.

Anyone else put an aftermarket deck in a car that has steering wheel controls?

I'm thinking of getting one, too. the prices above are in US dollars, of course.

Local shops can get these modules.

Depending on your head unit, you might also be able to get a wired remote interface from PAC as well as SoundGate.

I guess it all depends on how much it's worth to you to have the controls on your steering wheel and not be able to use them... Personally that would drive me crazy... but that's just me
