My setup still sounds like pure and I'm scared to burn a coil or something,
Could someone please help me tune it.. I'll drive anywheres.. I just need someone knowledgeable.
I live in Scarborough
Thanks

I'm in Mississauga around QEW and Erin Mills Pkwy. If you wanted to drop by I wouldn't mind helping you. I'll be home all day tomorrow. The hz on your HU you are talking about, I think that is the Center Frequency adjustment. I have the CDA-9827 and with the MX-Media Expander you can shift the center frequency around to accent different frequency bands to varying degrees. Does your HU have the MX. Personally I like using mine without the MX. Sounds best to me.

Talking

It's starting to sound like we should have a "tune me up" get-together in Mississauga one of these days.....if anybody else here who can do the tuning wants to PM me, maybe we can set a date and have a few people drop in for a tweak without the pressure of a comp at the same time......hmmmm...

I'll bet a few cars would show up for something like that......

agreed. i find media expander only helps at low volume but i cant go nearly as loud with it on. its meant to bring back the full sound of compressed music

Met up with him today, he needed another ground and power wire from the capacitor to the amp, what he had was 4guage from the battery to the cap and then the 12 guage to the amp so went across to sns and got some 4guage wire and changed it then tuned the amp and deck and now it sounds much better, the bass hits harder and deeper but he needs some sound proofing for his trunk lid as its vibrating like no tomorrow so you hear more rattle than clean bass.

I also wish I had a system that I could tune again

Well i guess we can all do the tuning on april 3rd the day before the next show. Just pick somewhere thats in the middle of everyone like yorkdale mall, same distance for people downtown toronto, on the east and west end, and north of toronto. Or if one of our "Vendors" can lend us their parking lot, which would be good as they may end up getting some business as well for people who want to upgrade anything or replace anything in their systems.
