Sub and amp combination

I was just wondering if the Kicker SX1250.1 amp, which is rated at one ohm, would be able to power the Kicker Solo-Baric L7 15" (1000/2000), which is rate at two ohms?

So this amp would not work with the dual four ohm model of the subwoofer?

Yes it will, it just will not work to the best of it's abilities. It is not a match made in heaven.
