Sub Problem

Alright, just wired in a kicker l7 and something is not right, whenever the deck is turned on it just sends out a loud bass output every 5ish seconds constantly, even, no music at all just the blast of bass.

its a 4ohm dvc, and i wired it up like 2ohm

alright, this is the diagram that i followed to wire it on a 2ohm

http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp?submitted=true&woofer_qty=1&woof er_imp=4

so any input from anyone would be great, really want to get it pounding to music, not the signal that it is going thorugh it now.

thanks

Sounds like you have a ground issue somewhere......double-check all the connections on the amp including both ends of your RCAs.....BTW, what amp is it? Model # if you don't mind...
