Bro, next time I am in Hamilton or you are in Etobicoke I will let you hear my car. I run all Clarion Subs and Components and it WILL blow you away. Clarion have some of the best sounding subs and components for the price. I have trophies for SQ and SPL with the exact same setup. I would love to change your mind about Clarion.
To the OP check out the Clarion, if it is in your price range I would not hesitate to grab it.

^^those Clarions sound awesome, heard a pair of 12's in a Lumina last year. I had a pair of the Clarion psw 10's a few years ago(fibre glass one with thick rubber surround), and those were really tight, clean sounding subs as well.

Alright, well I have heard some clarions and they definately sound nice. So since Those FI's are out of the question with my amp, I think I'll either go with Clarion or type R's. I think I'll hop down to visions and listen to a type R and compare with the Clarion/

Wait, so should I get the double 4 ohm coils? or the dual 2 ohm coils?

One sub - Double 4

Two subs - Double 2

Both will give you a final 2 ohm load.
