Gentlemen,

Does anyone know the Tach wire location for a 2008 Ford Ranger with standard transmission. Advice regarding the installation of a 2WFM8000AS would be appreciated as well - thanks in advance!

 

Grab tach off an injector, look at at least 2 injector plugs they will have 2 wires(maybe 3 but same principal applies) you will have a common wire color between all injectors and then a wire that is different on all injectors, take the different one. This works on all vehicles that you can get to an injector.

specifically on your Ranger, it is yellow and grey at PCM under the hood on the passenger side fire wall far outside plug.
