Most vinyls contain plasticisers, and you need an adhesive with anti-plasticiser, or there will be a chemical reaction once the panels get some heat in the summer. The regular contact cement will turn into something resembling snot, and it's a biatch to clean up and re-do.
Helmaprine, Helmatine, or V&S181 is designed to withstand the vapours from vinyl.
Same glue the Coyote uses on the Roadrunner! lol
