Interesting product that CD is, but how can you trust a CD made by a wire manf. comparing it to it's competitors? Of course, the company making the CD will have the best-sounding wire.

Well, if there are no differences between wire, it shouldn't matter who makes the CD. You wouldn't hear a difference anyways, so how could the manufacturer sound better?

Hard to believe there was such little difference in sound in that amp test. You would think that components using so many parts and connections would definitely resolve differences in models. If there is so little difference in amps...how much can there be in wires?
I have tested many wires(informally) over the years for my own education and can find no difference in sound to satisfy me. My choice in wires are always made on reliability, price, and appearance...in that order.

I find it odd that as soon as a double blind test is involved though it seems that while everyone hears differnently nobody can tell the difference in wire
Could the test be faulty? Just because it is simple does not make it infallible or a psychoacoustic phenomenon itself. ABX tests have been done on loudspeakers (1990’s) and ABX testing ‘proved’ all speakers sound the same… using current complex measuring devices they can not determine why speakers measurements do not correlate to how we perceive them to sound (you should, using measurements, tell when a product will sound good , bad or great). We are evidently NOT measuring the sonically significant parameters.

Good point, you can’t trust a bias party to not influence the user. The CD, if it were edited, would open WW to litigation and close the companies doors... too big a risk for any business. WW is a solid company with some integrity, I actually own some WW products because they do make good stuff. WW has made SEVERAL products over the years to compare the sound of ANY cable to no cable at all (direct connection would be the un-edited sound and any perceived difference would be due to the cable).

I have said it before check out the Cable Company they will let you 'rent' cables and audition the differences for yourself. Be an individual and make up your own mind.
