What sub to match with kicker 1200.1 amp

Hey guys. So I was originally going to go with two vega vmax 12' but I was wondering if I just got one sub and ran it on my 2002 model kx1200.1 amp at 1ohm. What sub single sub would out perform the vmax and give me good sq and spl
Budget is around 500-800 for the sub.

none that I know off and no official one on their website. You either had to order it from them directly, get it from out west (used to be a member that could get them on here...i don't think he's in the business anymore though), or go to the states.
