what is a subsonic filter? and where do I set it??

what is a subsonic filter? and where do I set it??

as the topic says.....

I have a DD3512 in a ported box tuned to 44hz the amp has a subsonic filter.. where do I put it....???

Right at or as close to 44hz as possible. Otherwise the sub will "unload" below the port frequency. Some people set it about 5hz over. Subsonic filter is a high pass crossover that cuts off the frequencies below it's setting.
