why no power doubling from 2 to 1ohm

why no power doubling from 2 to 1ohm

I was just wondering, couldnt find anything with clarion but why dosnt my DXP1800 double in power from 2 to 1ohm (800rms for both) but almost doubles from 4 to 2ohm?
Im just curious

Some amps like the digital mono blocks by Clarion don't provide more power at 1 ohm, full power is achived at 2 ohms but for wirings purposes allows 1 ohm.
