HELP! DD Z1A 2x earth 2x power inputs why?
Hi everyone I'm new to this forum, ive recently purchased a digital designs z1a amp (second hand so no manual with it) now my question is this, it has dual power and earth inputs, I've never had an amp like that, I've always only had amps with the 1 earth & power inputs, so I'm wondering do I have to use both? Can I use just one set? by set I mean 1xearth 1xpower, or if I have to use both can I use the same wire in both inputs, eg.run into distribution block then run 2x wires from it, and earth both out at separate points in the vehicle or should I put both earths in the same spot? Also it has 2+ Speaker output & 2- speaker outputs beside each other, it looks like this ++-- so im wondering can it be bridged to run 1 sub? Which + & - do I use? Or does it not matter? I was guessing the second + and the last -
+ + - -
^ ^---these ones, any help would be appreciated, also I run 0 gauge wire I only have 1 battery and a 4.4 farad cap, with stock altenator, thanks Mick

It has dual + and - power inputs because of the MASSIVE current draw it will require when making big power at 1 or 2 ohms. Don't bother using a distribution block splitting 1 wire to 2; you need 2 dedicated runs to your batteries (note the plural) and 2 grounds, EACH with the largest wire that will fit in those terminals. As for the speaker output its much the same; you need all that wire capacity to run that much power to your subs. Both +s and -s are joined so it doesn't matter how you use them as long as your load presented to the amp is correct.
