wierd deck problem.

thanks for the links too
do you know if i ran a second amp for my speakers, would i have to run another power wire for the second amp or could i just tap off the one for my monoblock?

How big is the power wire you have now, and how big is your sub amp?

i belive its is 8 guage, but im not quite sure.
its a 300 watt rms amp

I would probably upgrade to 4awg wiring, then split it at your distro block, just so you have room for expansion if you decide to run bigger amps down the road.

my guess is a speaker wire is shorting out.....

My first thought, One of those crappy sony 6x9's is acting up at high volume. Try unplugging one and then crank it, unplug the other and crank again if that stops the problem, I guess that would be it lol

if that was the problem, how would i go about fixing it.
just buying new 6x9's?
or is there a cheaper alternative.
