whats the diff between the 99 series and the 99z ?

Any pics of the 99z? when is it coming out? if its just as good in terms of SQ as the 95's.. then it should be a HUGE hit.

99z is the SPL ONLY sub. It will probably only be good for walled cars, SS and extreme. The price is beyond crazy, also. Website says under $5000 US. [img]graemlins/jawdrop.gif[/img]

Actually it's supposed to be good for Street class as well. A few Euro's are testing it out right now, so we'll see shortly.

The web site says "under $5000" ... just remember that $1 is also under $5000, I don't know why everyone assumes that they mean it's going to be $4999.99.

Official MSRP hasn't been released yet so I wouldn't freak out too much.

Anyways, this sub should be good. Even I'm having a hard time prying info out of DD about it.

Just like I said under $5000 US. If they are $1 I'll take two, if they are $4999.99 I'll take one. LOL. That would be crazy if they perform well in street. Just with the strappable amp rule this year we are seeing some unthinkable #'s in street class. Now add a sub like the 99z and
