Question

To everyone who uses their xbox for dvd playback in their vehicle I'm just wondering; how and where do you rig the xbox so that the remote will find the infrared receiver?

I'm thinking about puting my xbox in my trunk. Will that work?

Thanks.

So do you run this infrared repeater to somewhere in the front of the car from the xbox in the back?

I think it would be cool to take the xbox apart and relocate the plug ins for the controllers. Relocate them somewhere in the center consol so you can plug in you controllers or DVD IR receiver right at the front.

Walmart or Toy 'r' Us, sell a controller extension cord. Just plug the extension cord in to plug "4"...and away you go.
