I hear XM has a larger music library so you might have a little more diverse sounds on it. Plus I like the hockey, Serious won't have it after this coming season.

The only problem with there library is I like to hear all the hits new or old and I found with XM you hear alot of songs you never heard of or like just to get to the ones you do like.

Dont forget, for 2 more seasons XM and Sirius SHARE the NHL. As far as sound Q, neither are that good. I personally think sirius is less bad, it's not like one is way better then the other, depends on your hardware. I had XM for 2 years, switched to Sirius and love it. I won't bitch about XM, but far perfer Sirius.
