jensen door spkrs
mei 6x9 in homeade boxes
realistic booster amp to 6x9's
home spkrs mids and tweets discon
run to a blaupunct amp mounted under seat.

come to think of it didnt have motor noise
either that or the hole in the exhaust was louder

Very first was a Sparkomatic twinshaft cassette WITH EQ!!!! on a pair of Pioneer TSX-4 surface mount speakers in my 79Acadian 4dr. lol - SUX2BU used to whine to the parents that I played the stereo too loud
Then I got an 84 Sentra with Pioneer DIN cassette, Pioneer EQ6000 EQ, two 25x2 Pioneer amps on Alpine 6.5s and 6x9s, and a Lear Jet Gold 65x2 on a pair of Realistic 15s in the hatch. I had the biggest subs in town

In an '89 Pontiac Tempest
Craig "U-shaft" style cassette deck (It had a pair of non-fading preouts)
Jensen 200watt mosfet amp (100x2 max) I don't know what the RMS was. Back then I though every amp was brigeable just by using the Right + and left -.
I was running an 8 ohm Cerwin Vega knock-off sub in the trunk.
Factory 4x6 up front
factory 6x9 out back.
It had good bass considering the sub was only getting about 50wrms.
