Approved db drag product list for SS/A
yeah we did some talking and have decided on an amp that we feel will be fair for the class.. I know if i show up to a show with a 5000.1 im gonna get bumped to street a and understandably so, the non supporting thing is a load of crap... when db drag starts offering cash prizes then they can start talking about what brands we can and can not run based on weather or not they support db drag itself. I personally think that until the supporting money trickles down to the competitors, brand selection should be a free for all...
I think it is going to be limited to probably legit cea rated 2k amps that you would actually find in legit stereo shops. Not competition type stuff that is really not sold anywhere except by special order or on the net or in specialty type spl applications, there are plenty of places for that stuff to be used.
But policing the big amps and spl type gear and cars is just a part of it. The WHOLE POINT of it is to have a legit place for noobs and regular type customers to play too. So it really comes down to shop owners and show promoters to keep that class open for them, and get rid of loser veterans, or all out spl cars trying to sneak in there. I personally will be punting guys out of those classes at my shows and have no problem doing it, because I see the true benefit and point of the class.
