Unhappy

has anyone tried a box with or without baffles inside a box that is designed for spl? i know that the baffles are good for eliminating standing waves , but what effect, if any, will the baffle do to output? any input would be helpful.

We did back in 2002 in extreme 1-2. Picture a bookshelf rounded over in the back of the box but many of them. It worked well on the old mics, that are based on velosity (sp),and a gain of 1.5db`s, but on the new pressure sensors it didn`t work so well, a loss of 0.5db`s. But that is in extreme and we have never really tried it out in a supper street or street application.
