box position?

hey guys, do you know whats the best position to put you're sub? Im building a box, first time, and im thinking of maybe building it on a 45' angle, so when i drop the back seat, the sub is slightly pointing to the Roof / cabin of the car. what do you think? would that help at all if i were 2 go on the meter?

best to build a square box - ported perferred.
Move the box around untill it sounds best -my car its facing back in the trunk - closest to the back seat
Move the box around till its loudest with meter -my car its still facing back - but ony 6 inches from the very back of the car to the box - difference of 141 and 143db

I was thinking the same thing a few days ago when i noticed my sub get LOUDER when i opened the trunk. I did a quick search and found this right at the top of my search results:

Its kinda hard to tell which way would sound best without trying it yourself.
I am actually kinda glad there isnt just a "premium setup" to use because this way it keeps people playing with their systems. Which (to me anyways) is the whole point of putting a system in the car. hehe
