Hey everyone, I plan to build a custom enclosure between the seat in a 2008 regular cab silverado....Its a matrix 12 perty beefy and a matrix 800-1000watt amp im not sure witch one.... I have a few question

How far should we place the box from the back wall if we have the port and speaker facing the rear.....?

What is the best tune for a box overall were not lookin to place 1-5 in a contest by any means but ( he has a prefab vented right now and as far as i can tell its tuned really high because when it hits deep notes it don't Come alive like it should ) I was thinking 30 or so would be a good tune correct me if im wronge.... He listens to mainly rap... and some rock but would like for the rap to play well and hit hard....

also I've built up a few boxes on RE's box calculator... Is this a good thing to go by or should i not go off of what that says....

Is there any part of that calculator i need to watch like port area or anything or as long as when i'm done it says im tuned to 30 it should be fine...
I just put something together on there and this is what i ened up with would that probably do fine or should i tune it higher or possibly lower
