Okay, so let me get this straight, since you are doing SPL there will be no fuses right? Then don't you think passing the wire through jagged metal would not be the best course of action?
And you're the guy complaining that there are no SPL vehicles featured in magazines. Maybe if you elevated the install past the point of extreme fire hazard someone would want to look at it in an international magazine.

I understand where you're coming from but you have to realise what you're dealing with here... world championships are won and lost by the narrowest or margins.
