how to do spl reading

hey guys im new here and was wondering a few things...
1 first off do they supply the music when i go into the shop to get my reading or do i? if i do then what do i bring?
2 will it make any diffrence if i upgrade to 1 run of 4/0 awg wire for my+ and a run of 4awg for my - all i have now is 4awg+ and grounded in the trunk.
3 would i be better rear facing the subs or aiming them ahead?

any other comments would be awsome thanks!

1- Depends on the shop you go to. I'd bring my own just to be sure.

2- Usually yes. It depends on your equipment though. When it comes to power wire more is usually better.

3- Impossible to say without testing. Every vehicle and box combination is different so none of us can say 100% for sure what will be loudest.

As for the trunk rattling... again, like answer #3 it depends but usually it's not good to have rattles
