A manufacturer once asked me......(need your input)
As far as a team goes:
1. A place for testing, building, and tuning if possible.
2. Not asking for a handout but better pricing for SERIOUS competitors.
3. Better customer service(TF 1 is tops in my books for this).
4. Incentives if team goes to finals or finishes top in finals(not looking for a handout).
5. Good product to run(not saying your amp does 5k when it only does 2k).
6. Contacts with other manufacturers in the industry just to help the team with other accessories needed.i.e.deadening, wiring, etc.
7. Promoting the team, product, etc.
8. Resourses.
9. Unselfishness.
8. The most important thing is KNOWLEDGE!!! TF 1 wins this hands down!!!!!
One can go on and on but with just a few of these things a team can be very helpful.
As for me I am part of a team already. TEAM TF1. They are very knowledgeable with their product, the industry, extremely resourceful, don't have to pay a ton of money for their product, nor do I have to wait a long time for supplies. Support is excellant!!!!!
