Competition vehicles and auto sound systems may NOT be altered during competition at the Finals or at ANY multi-point event. Only damaged equipment may be replaced and the equipment being replaced may only be replaced with an equivalent component. The determination as to whether a product is an equivalent component shall be at the sole discretion of the dBDRA.

so if i come to a show and do sq and spl can i remove my sq set up (sub and box then place my spl box in ) be for doing the spl part of the show?

 

these are DB Drag rules.......DB Drag doesnt have any sq so i really dont know what u'd be doing with your sq system at an event thats purely spl????

 

Yulis right, I dont think Ive ever seen an SQ event at a DBDrag event.

what show dude? u posted db drag rules. there will not be any sq at a db drag event so why would u even bring your sq stuff?

there seems to be confusion. there will not be any sq at a db drag show. there might be a case where a different sanctioned body is present which infact does sq. if the db drag event is a multipoint and you indeed bring 2 set ups you can do 1 of the following.........
1. take your chances and just swap it out anyways hoping no one will notice or care
2. speak to the db drag judge and explain him/her your situation (they will normally be very nice and let u swap)
3. pick one format (sq OR spl) and stick to it

 

i can not rip out the sq set-up but i can have it off (no power to ,no fuse to the amps,and so on )
my sq is made into my suv in f/g

 

I think he means other sanctions like above Usaci or Iasca that has both show put on at the same time.But i would just pick one either SQ or SPL and not to compramise or better yet bring your equipment and join DBdrag in bassrace
