Well I was bored the other day so I decided to see just what an old 6.5" 2 way speaker could do. For enclosures I used some 6" dia port lengths I had laying around.

Here are some low power #'s and frequencies I found in each 6" dia tube, using sweeps.
Alum 3.25" long= 140.3 @ 45Hz
Alum 6" long= 138.6 @ 44Hz
CardBoard 2.75" long= 139.5 @ 55Hz
CardBoard 5.625" long= 138.9 @ 48Hz
CardBoard 8" long= 139.9 @ 52Hz

Next I took the loudest Alum tube, and added some power.

Hard to see but it did a 159.1dB, not to bad for just messing around. I found that the better I tried to seal the "box" the louder it got.

Just thought some would like to see my findings.
