stereo too heavy

i put air bags into my springs on my swift i can put a full wall setup and get no sag. but...i'm only in street...so i don't worry about it. just rides really ruff.

air ride on a swift would be sick!!! lol.. I am considering the air ride route, or if I can get my hands on a bigger suspension setup..I may go that route..tahnks for all the ideas everyone

haha it's different...and i can fill it up at any garage and decrease it anytime for nice travelling with extra people

Get rubber spring spacers, you can get em @ crappy tire. It'll lift you up at least.

I like this one... this is what I did after 150 lbs of stereo. Probably the cheapest way to get it done.

Maybe better, depending on if the car was bottoming out before or not.

What it does is that it prevents once coil from compressing... which means there's less coils to comrpess in total, which raises the spring rate. Also, by taking the coil out of the equation, the suspension runs the possibility of bottoming the spring instead of bottoming on the bump stops, which means the car might bottom out at a slightly higher position (good to prevent rubbing).

So yeah it'll increase your ride height, and your spring rate, but it can also affect where and how much your car bottoms out.
