So what, they still put up the numbers. If you have the cash to build a system like that I'm sure you can afford the recones which are FIELD RE-CONABLE!!!! If you're running a system throwing kw's to a sub guess what, blown subs happen all the time so the competitors don't give a . If they blow a sub because they can have a 'new one' before their next run.

Okay? Because the 9500 has an incredible amount of air noise through all of the vent holes in the motor, I'm an idiot? That makes total sense. If you can't hear all that air noise you need to get your hearing inspected immediatly... it was audible with music playing loudly on my 9510s, 9512s, and 9515s.

Wouldn't be too much of a problem in a trunk or far away, but close to you, it sounds terrible.

sundownz the 9500 series is one of the best sounding subs out of all spl subs, i dont know where u get this hole noise idea, have u ever used one? dont 99% of subs have vent holes in the motor?

plush, if u read carefully u can tell he is asking about street class subs, but if i dont even know why do u bother reading my replies? the dude that originally asked the question knows what im talkin about, i give him the answer he is looking for - how well would a given sub perform in a street application.

Nuff said bro. Granted it isn't very specific, but when he just asks what the top 10 spl subs are you gotta say the best of the best, not what'll fit in a specific category.
