LOL, cool, due to finances, I can't otherwise I would just for the heck of it. how do they sound? any good? Im saving up for a down payment towards a house down in Lake worth Florida, otherwise Id put those on my wish list. so is that why nobody uses them? in comps, is the number of woofers, what is considered, or the number of amps

They aren't made to sound good, they're made to be loud. I have only heard of one or two people that used the subs in their daily ride. Otherwise they are for SPL competitions only.

yes the sub is made to reproduce rather high notes, too high for daily music anyways. I think they were ment for the application in the Extreme and super street classes where most cars are set up to burp from mid 60's to high 70's hz notes.
and yes they sound very very bad for daily music
also 3k rms is not much at all, thats what me and Livin Loud were giving to each of our 12's last season. RFL's would need more than that to perform well.

ya they don'tsound good... LOL. if you were t give them about 6000+ watts they would get loud, like ina super street vehcile, or extreme, as father has mentioned.
otherwise, for music they wouldn't be my first choice! lol.
