Thumbs up OK the updates good, bad, unbearable

#1 Tried the 3x JL 12W7 Pounded mercilessly till the speakers started to SELF DESTRUCT! Leterally one cone cracked and chipped out, the other ripped, the 3rd unscathed I pulled and sold off.

#2 Tried the 2x XXX was pretty damn jackhammerish, but not nearly like the 3xJL.

#3 Broke down when in the US and sold off the 2xXXX for a Orion HCCA 15.2. HEARD IT IN THE STORE, JUST FOUNF OUT THEY USE A BOX MADE OF DOUBLED 1" GLUED SCREWED. Ok can you say hold on to your A**. BASS, B-A-S-S. AWESOME, COPIOUS, So much so I have since gone through 3 boxes. The first 1" MDF glued, screwed blew out the corner. I reglued it temporarily with gorilla glue, 1 1/2 ( 2x2 wood) and screws. Lasted another week then blew out. "Bought" a box the stereo shop assured me would hold up. He istalled the sub, cranked it one time and boom . Well I didn;t end up paying for that one. I bought a cheap 4 CF box for the ride home. Split it again, back to home depot for more wood, and gorilla glued it. I bought "load ties" and tied the box 3 ways from sunday. I have now decided to sell the HCCA 15.2 so to anyone interested in eye bleeding bass it can be theirs for $600 and I will even throw in the half dead box.lol

Blew out the corner of the box?

Either you can't build a box for or this story is complete BS.

(first hint.. don't use Gorilla Glue for your box)
